Corporate Attorney - Partner level

A growing, entrepreneurial law firm is seeking a seasoned Corporate M&A Partner to join its expanding Business & Transactions practice. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with an established book of business to join a collaborative platform that supports growth, autonomy, and long-term success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage sophisticated mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
• Structure and negotiate stock and asset purchase agreements
• Advise clients on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Counsel private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and strategic buyers/sellers
• Oversee due diligence, transaction structuring, and closing processes
• Mentor associates and contribute to practice group growth
• Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, finance, employment, and litigation teams

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in applicable jurisdiction
• 8+ years of substantive M&A and corporate transaction experience
• Demonstrated portable book of business
• Strong client relationships and repeat transactional work
• Proven ability to independently originate, manage, and close deals
• Business-minded, entrepreneurial approach to practice
