Civil Design Engineer

Civil Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles with a completed bachelor's degree
• Site development and design, including stormwater management design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, plan preparation, and grading
• Experience with various permit applications, including FDOT and Water Management Districts
• Report writing and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork on a limited/project-required basis
• Integrity and passion for the work
• Serve as the main contact with clients
• Make presentations to clients and municipalities as needed
• Respond to RFQs and represent the company effectively

Civil Design Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5–10 years of local experience
• Licenses: EI required, PE preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and stormwater design software

Civil Design Engineer Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills
• Experience in stormwater modeling, analysis, and design
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional appearance and demeanor for client meetings
