Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Veterinary Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians eager to fully utilize their surgical and anesthesia expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

This is a full-time, position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, and some weekend coverage as needed.

The hospital features eight exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, dedicated dental and surgical suites, digital radiology, ultrasound, full IDEXX lab, and Impromed EMRs-all designed to empower our technicians to work efficiently and grow their skills.
With access to trusted mobile specialists and a strong referral network, technicians gain hands-on experience with both routine and complex cases. The culture is centered on teamwork, respect, and positivity, with plenty of opportunities for professional development and peer support. Staff also enjoy a dedicated break room and an outdoor area for downtime throughout the day.

In this role, you will:
- Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
- Ensure an efficient surgical and procedural workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and patients.
- Communicate with clients to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide discharge instructions with empathy and clarity.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $33-35 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $2000
- CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Dental prophy and radiographs
- Advanced Dentistry Techniques
