Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Job Location: Commerce City, CO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Work Schedule: Primarily onsite with hybrid flexibility after onboarding (~2 days remote/week)
Salary: $28–$35/hr. + Performance Bonus (up to $300/quarter) + 70% Employer-Paid Health Insurance + 2 Weeks Vacation + 1 Week Sick Leave + 401(k) Plan

Job Details
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, collections, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping. You will support the month-end close process, maintain accurate financial records, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth financial operations. This is a high-impact role within a lean, growing team, offering strong visibility and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
· Process and reconcile credit card transactions and maintain accurate financial records
· Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
· Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and assisting with financial reporting
· Maintain and track balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules
· Handle collections efforts and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
· Record and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
· Collaborate with internal teams to support overall accounting operations
· Assist in maintaining organized and accurate accounting documentation
· Support continuous process improvements within accounting workflows

Must Have
- Currently, working in Collections, Bookkeeping, or AR Clerk roles
- 1+ year of professional experience in Collections
- Understanding of Balance Sheets, Journal Entries, and P&L statements (or experience gaining exposure to them through education)
- Ability to obtain or already hold a MED badge
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AP, Credit Card transactions, and bank reconciliations
