Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Rockford, IL

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Pay: $1885 - $2271 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

As a valued member of the Labor & Delivery team, you will utilize your clinical skills and compassionate care to support mothers and their newborns during one of the most critical times in their lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and standards
  • Documenting patient care according to standards of care
  • Developing and executing individualized patient care plans
  • Participating in performance improvement activities within the department
  • Providing clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments
  • Utilizing critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience

Requirements for this role include:

  • Current IL License, CPR, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification
  • High-risk labor & delivery experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Need 1 year experience in setting
