Outfitters Truck and Trailer in Thomasville, GA needs to hire a full-time Upfitter Installer, for lift kits and accessories, to be responsible for installing and modifying vehicles to enhance their performance and appearance. This role involves installing various aftermarket products, including lift kits, suspension systems, and other accessories, and involves working with various automotive tools, performing mechanical and electrical installations, and ensuring that all modifications meet safety and quality standards.

Welding experience is required. Hand tools are required. Shop tools are provided. The employee should be local to Thomasville, Ga but available to train initially in Rome, GA for 2 to 3 weeks. Accommodations would be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install lift kits, suspension components, and other accessories on vehicles.
• Ensure proper alignment and functionality of installed components.
• Perform electrical wiring for accessories like lighting systems and audio equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on installations to ensure safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with installed components.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Welding experience is required
• Hand tools are required
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and mechanical components.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Previous experience in automotive installation or upfitting is preferred.
• Technical training in automotive technology is a plus.
