Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational Therapy opportunity available in a K-12 school setting located in Opelousas, LA, serving students across grades K-12 (Elementary, Middle, and High School levels). Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.

• Support functional skills development to enhance educational participation.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Active State License in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably across diverse grade levels K-12.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation.

Position Details:

• Contract duration: January 2026 through June 2026.
• Weekly hours: 30 to 37.5, Monday through Friday.
