Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing Occupational Therapy services in a school setting requires specialized skills and dedication to supporting students' developmental needs. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Grand Island, NE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) levels.
- Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Active State License in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience working with school-age children across multiple grade levels (K-12).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families.
- Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
- Commitment to student-centered care and developmental support.
Job Details:
- Location: Grand Island, NE.
- Contract length: January 2026 through June 2026.
- Work schedule: 5 days per week, 30 to 37.5 hours per week.
