Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to students across multiple grade levels in a school setting. The role is a contract assignment based in Haughton, Louisiana, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a wide age range and possess an active state license for occupational therapy.
Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapy State License Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred Ability to implement OT interventions tailored to school-aged children Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
Job Details: Location: Haughton, LA (School-based role) Contract duration: January 2026 to June 2026 Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week Student age group: Kindergarten through 12th grade Pay rate: Starting at $40+ per hour
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and classroom integration Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports Participate in team meetings and contribute to the design of intervention plans Ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements
