Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support a specialized high school program in Ludlow, MA, focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This contract role is set for the 2026-2027 school year and offers the chance to work within a supportive educational environment designed to foster independence and personalized growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to high school students enrolled in the Compass High Program.
  • Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Collaborate with educators and team members to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of students with ASD and related learning challenges.
  • Participate in ongoing communication with families and school staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state licensure and certification.
  • Experience working with high school students, particularly those with ASD or similar learning differences, preferred.
  • Familiarity with supervision of SLPAs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adhere to state compliance and reporting requirements.

Location:

  • Position is based in Ludlow, MA within the Compass High Program at Ludlow High School.
  • The main client office is located in West Springfield, MA, but duties will be performed onsite in Ludlow.

Schedule:

  • Contract duration from approximately August 27, 2026, through June 22, 2027.
  • Approximately 32.5 hours per week in alignment with the school year calendar.
