Job Summary and Qualifications

The Burn Services Registered Nurse performs the active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. May assume the role as Team Leader for part or duration of shift. We have an amazing team dedicated to patient care, apply today!

• You will promote positive Customer Service with a Patient and Family Centered Care Philosophy
• You will seek opportunities to improve care or system process; Incorporate Performance Improvement principles and data
• You will support and contribute to the success of the hospital’s mission and vision
• You will meet Standard of Practice and Care using established policies and procedures of the facility
• You will ensure care is delivered with an awareness to resource management
• You will perform active case management of the patient’s healthcare process
• You will promote positive customer service with colleagues, physicians, guests, patients and vendors.
• You are to perform duties and responsibilities of all lesser included jobs
• You are to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.  BSN preferred.
• Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse Required
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital Med Surg experience required.
• RN experience in Burn Services/Care and Wound Care highly preferred.
• BCLS Required
• CCRN preferred
