Area Director – Full Service Restaurants (Multi-Unit)

Area Director Requirements & Qualifications


  • Minimum 5–10 years of multi-unit leadership experience in full-service restaurants
  • Proven track record managing multiple P&Ls and achieving financial targets
  • Strong leadership experience overseeing General Managers and large teams
  • Deep understanding of high-volume, full-service restaurant operations
  • Experience with labor management, food cost control, and inventory systems


Area Director Preferred Background & Skills


  • Experience overseeing 7+ locations simultaneously
  • Background in upscale casual or high-volume dining concepts
  • Experience with new store openings or brand expansion


Area Director Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily operations of 7–8 full-service restaurant locations to ensure consistent quality and execution of brand standards
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess service, food quality, cleanliness, and the overall guest experience
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility for assigned locations, partnering with General Managers to achieve financial targets
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop management teams, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement
  • Address guest feedback trends and uphold consistent brand standards across all restaurants
  • Lead and support company initiatives, including new store openings or market expansion
