Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a school setting in Gretna, NE. This travel position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by addressing their developmental, sensory, and functional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance students motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Provide consultation and training to educational staff regarding strategies to assist students.
- Comply with all school policies and state regulations regarding therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Nebraska or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience working as an OT in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the assigned school location in Gretna, NE.
