As a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with team members in patient care
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state laws
  • Documenting care according to standards of care
  • Developing and executing patient care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Participating in performance improvement activities and shared governance
  • Providing clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments
  • Utilizing critical thinking for patient safety and escalating issues as needed

Requirements:

  • Current WI License and CPR/BLS certification
  • Flu vaccination required
  • Education verification
  • Travel RN may be required to float to other units
  • Need 1 year experience in setting
