About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food quality and team leadership, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Control food and labor costs while minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Assist with menu development and implementation
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen leadership role (Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
