Warehouse Worker

This position combines the roles of a delivery assistant and a warehouse helper. You will accompany a full-time employee in a truck to deliver windows and doors. Most of your day will be spent in the truck traveling to various locations such as construction sites or new build homes. Upon arrival, you will assist the driver in unloading windows and doors from the truck onto pallets. Additionally, you will help in the warehouse by performing tasks such as order picking, staging of orders, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, supplies, equipment, and products. Ensuring that all products are delivered to the correct customer is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering windows and doors to various sites.
• Unload products from trucks and place them onto pallets.
• Participate in warehouse activities such as order picking and staging.
• Receive, store, and distribute materials within the warehouse.
• Pull products for deliveries and ensure correct delivery to customers.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift operation.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Ability to load and unload products efficiently.
• General labor skills in a warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer savvy with the ability to operate software and Outlook.
• Capability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment includes company warehouse facilities and customer job sites, with noise levels typically ranging from moderate to loud. Temperature varies with the seasons. The environment is comparable to retail warehouse settings like Lowes, Home Depot, or Menards. Work hours are from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of longer hours into the afternoon and evening on extended routes. Employees will start and end their day at the Plymouth warehouse, though they may be asked to work at the New Hope or Brooklyn Park facility as the company transitions locations. Employees can expect to work 40 hours a week, with no overtime currently available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
