Material Handler

Location: Tualatin, OR

Pay Rate: $21-$23 DOE.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 AM-2:30 PM | Day Shift

Employment Type: Evaluation to hire - 60-day conversion

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturing client to hire a reliable and motivated Material Handler . This role plays a key part in supporting production operations by ensuring materials are received, stored, and delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments
  • Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas
  • Load, unload, and move materials using pallet jacks, forklifts - sit/stand propane, or hand trucks
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts
  • Prepare materials, including labeling and documentation
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized, clean work environment
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet daily goals
Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role preferred
  • Ability to work at a face pace and work indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Basic computer or inventory system experience a plus
  • 2+ years of forklift experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
