Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a school setting located in North Adams, MA. This contract position focuses on providing essential speech and language support to students in grades pre-kindergarten through 5th grade at an elementary school.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to a caseload consisting of early childhood and elementary students.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Provide support and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable.
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
  • Eligibility to work as a fully licensed SLP within Massachusetts.
  • Openness to collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills tailored for working with pediatric populations.
